Background: This set and live-action Western scene were created and filmed in the 10,000-square-foot volumetric capture dome at Intel Studios in California. Thanks to the technology and help of Intel's volumetric content studio, entertainment and sports experiences are one step closer to becoming truly immersive. Credit: (Intel Corporation).
Role: Digital painter (point cloud data roto artist)

The scene contained 38 cameras, each calculating x,y,z coordinates a ray shot from the camera. Having moving subjects, unbalanced lighting during the initial scene shooting, and noise from the surrounding atmosphere (dust particles, noise), and intersection of points from opposite side cameras presented unpredictable results and challenges.
Although, the paint bucket tool did its best to contain paint spillovers, it was not effective, so a manual cleanup was mandatory. 😅
